The industrial feed pellet mill usually consists of a horizontally placed ring-shaped die and rotating press rollers. Raw materials are fed into the die through a feeding system, then compressed into pellets by roller rotation and pressure. Pellet size and density are controlled by selecting die size and adjusting pressing pressure.
Typical process steps include feeding, conditioning (steam or moisture addition), compression through the die, and cooling. Proper conditioning improves pellet appearance, durability and nutritional availability for animals.
1. The machine comes with a constant-speed feeder to ensure even feeding and stable pellet quality.
2. Connectable to a conditioner — the conditioner can use steam to soften and condition raw materials, improving pellet quality, appearance and output.
3. An ideal solution for small feed pellet factories or farms requiring high-capacity production.
4. Surface carburizing treatment increases ring die surface hardness and significantly extends service life.
5. A compression step release hole is adopted to ensure smooth material entry into die holes, improving forming stability.
